It’s hard to believe that Sakura Chiropractic Clinic has now been open for a year. What started as a quiet idea and a small space has grown into something I’m incredibly proud of, and this feels like a good moment to pause and reflect.
Opening a clinic comes with a mix of excitement, nerves, and a lot of learning along the way. Over the past year, I’ve met so many people from the local community, each with their own story, lifestyle, and reasons for seeking care. No two days have been the same, and that variety is one of the things I enjoy most about my work.
This year has also marked an important step forward with the addition of a new chiropractor, Monét, to the clinic. Monét brings a thoughtful, patient-centred approach to care and has already become a valued part of the practice. Her calm manner and attention to detail have been a great fit for the clinic, and it has been lovely to see patients respond positively to her presence and care. Welcoming another chiropractor into Sakura Chiropractic Clinic feels like an exciting step in its continued growth.
I’m especially grateful to those who have trusted me with their care over the past year. Whether you came in for a short course of treatment, ongoing support, or simply advice and reassurance, your trust means more than you might realise. Word of mouth, kind feedback, and familiar faces returning through the door have been some of the most meaningful moments of this first year.
As Sakura Chiropractic moves into its second year, our focus remains the same: providing thoughtful, patient-centred chiropractic care in a calm and supportive environment. I’m looking forward to continuing to learn, refine my approach, and support the local community, alongside Monét, in the year ahead.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of this first year. I’m excited to see what the next one brings.
